Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo Olympics has finally arrived at the Nintendo Switch, and a demo is also available.
While the game offers the classic olympics game featuring Mario and his sidekicks, the new game offers little variety in the ways it allows the player to enjoy each Olympic sport.
While Mario and Sonic fans are the main audience, it would have helped if the games were more fleshed out and the variety on offer was on par with other Olympic games.
However, the variety of offerings in the form of Story Mode and different sports is very welcome. Variety only becomes a problem within each category.
The Story Mode is the best offering of the game perhaps, with 20 chapters and a solid story.
Those who are not sold on the game yet can try it out themselves by downloading a demo on the Nintendo Switch store.
