6 people die in bomb attack in Afghanistan

6 policemen die and 5 others were injured after a bomb attack that took place in the Badgis province of Afghanistan.

Badgis Police Chief Shir Aka Alkozay said in a statement to the press that a bomb was detonated during the passage of a police vehicle at a location between the town of Badgis Mukur district and Qala e Naw. Alkozay noted that 6 policemen lost their lives in the attack and 5 policemen were injured.

Badgis Police Chief Sir Aka Alkozay blamed the Taliban for the attack.

The Taliban has not yet made a statement regarding the incident.
