In London, environmentalist protesters announced that they will carry out their occupation for another 5 days to urge the government to make more effort to combat climate change.
In November, 85 people were detained in a similar protest, in which protesters occupied 5 bridges in central London.
The previous week, Extinction Rebellion also undertook a naked protest at the British parliament at the House of Commons where 8 people were detained during the incident.
