Resident Evil 2’s long awaited remaster could be released this week on the PlayStation store.
Capcom had long announced that there was going to be a demo available before the game is released. However, no dates were given for the demo.
There are now circulating rumours that the demo might come out this week.
On 11 January, Capcom will be hosting a livestream, which fans surmise will be about the upcoming game.
While Resident Evil 2 was one of the most celebrated games in the franchise, the remaster has been hailed as one of the best remasters the industry has seen by gaming critics, who praised the remaster’s complete overhaul of graphics and its fidelity to the original.
Resident Evil 2 was first released in Japan as Biohazard 2 in 1998.
