Hand of Fate 2, the sequel to Hand of Fate, an RPG that also doubles as a card game, is going to appear on the Nintendo Switch platform. A new trailer for the game has appeared to celebrate the ‘switch’, the game’s debut on Nintendo’s beloved console known for critically acclaimed exclusives such as Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey.
The Switch version of Hand of Fate 2 will have all the previous DLCs for the game, and there will be free updates after the game’s launch on the console.
Morgan Jaffit, the director of Defiant Development, said: “We’ve been careful not to tip our hand about this news until now, but our team is thrilled to finally announce Hand of Fate 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch. We are very much looking forward to seeing fans having the opportunity to take the game on the go with this exciting new platform.”
Hand of Fate 2, like its predecessor, is a fantasy dungeon crawler game with RPG elements and a card game implemented into its core gameplay. Players will be able to create their own adventure depending on the variety of cards that are pulled out of a deck, that determines their encounters with foes. Otherwise, the game takes place in real time and there are fights with enemies and challenges to be completed. The game was released for the PC in November 2017, and had received praise by critics and players.
