Blast near US embassy in Beijing

A blast has happened near the US embassy in Beijing, which eye witnesses describes as a ‘thunder-like’ blast.There are no injuries apart from the person who caused the blast.The man whose name was reported to be Jiang had his hand injured and was sent to hospital for treatment. The man was from Inner Mongolia, and his motives are yet unknown.
Attacks like the blast rarely happen in Beijing, the Chinese capital. The last time an attack happened was when a car plowed through the crowd at Tiananmen Square, causing five people to pass away. According to Chinese authorities, the attack was undertaken by Uighur separatists.
